Located in nearby Tsurugi Town, Trip offers wonderful river tours via kayak and canoe along the mighty Yoshino River. No experience is necessary to enjoy their half-day and full day courses which allow for impressive views as you tranquilly glide upon the majestic river. All gear is provided and their tandem kayaks are perfect for families with kids. Their tours are particularly nice during the spring and autumn when its neither too hot or too cold to enjoy being on the river.

Trip also offers fun river trekking courses that are great for summer, where you can splash around, float, dive in, and even snorkel as you hike along the secluded banks of other nearby rivers. They can also provide mountain guide service for hiking upon Mt Tsurugi.

This small two-person outfitter is run by owner/operator Ushio-san and his wife who are both skilled outdoors enthusiasts and former white-water rafting guides from over in Oboke. They can also speak a bit of English, so no need to worry too much about communication.

Whether your group is two people or twenty, they can provide a great day of experiencing nature. During their various courses, Ushio-san is particularly known for brewing a fine batch of his specialty coffee which he cooks over an open fire on the banks of the splendid river.
