All of their English speaking local guides
live in the Iya Valley, so they know the area because its their home, and they know the Iya people because they are their neighbors. Accordingly, they can provide in-depth service unlike any other outside tour company, taking you places many people often never get to see, and giving you local insight on Iya's culture, history, and lifestyle through first-hand experience. As they say, "Nobody can show you Iya like us".
A variety of guided tours are possible, including
extensive full day tours
to Iya's best sights, as well as tours focused on architecture, food, yoga, hiking, and more. And since their guides speak English, they can also include local activities otherwise only offered in Japanese such as soba noodle making or even scarecrow making.
Whether traveling solo or with a large group, its no problem being that Iya Valley Tours operates as part of the Kazurabashi Taxi Company
which has a small fleet of cars, vans, and buses. All the drivers are also local residents and they can assure your safety and comfort on Iya's notorious roads.
Tours can start/end from JR Oboke Station or from any accommodation in the Iya Valley. Multi-day tour sets can also include your transportation between your hotel and the train station, and they can even take you to/from just about any place in Shikoku if you prefer.

Iya Valley Tours
has two office locations in the valley, but its unlikely that you will ever need to go there since they will pick you up and drop you off from any Iya hotel and/or JR Oboke Station.
Their main Nishi-Iya branch office is based out of the Kazurabashi Taxi office and this is also the location of the Onomiya pub and restaurant. Their Oku-Iya branch office is located near Tani Shoten grocery store.
